Single Cottonwood - Medium P09795-P00009 Sea Spray with Blue Lid:Deep in a canyon where the Escalante River flows in Southern Utah's Escalante Wilderness, stands a single cottonwood tree. Against a red sandstone wall it starts to make it's transition to the yellow colored leaves of Fall. Thompson captured this iconic southwest image on medium format film, created a high resolution scan and printed it on a double weight archival cotton rag paper with pigment inks.
