Rough Rider Double Casked Str. Bourbon Provence Graciano and Mazuelo (10%)From Long Island Spirits, in Baiting Hollow, NY. Sourced whiskey 60% Corn, 35% Rye, 5% Malted Barley, finished in Long Island Chardonnay and Merlot casks. Rich, earthy, almost petrolly aromas are a nice balance to the intense butterscotch and toffee notes. Some dry straw and green pepper. Big in the mouth, pleasantly oily, nice heat, sweet cherry compote on the long finish. Rough and ready bourbon at a great price. 90 proof.
