The Ferrari SF90 Spider represents a revolutionary chapter in the evolution of modern supercars from Ferrari. The SF90 name honors the 90th anniversary of Scuderia Ferrari, reflecting the brand’s deep motorsport heritage and engineering excellence.
Ferrari introduced the SF90 as its first production plug-in hybrid supercar, blending Formula 1 technology with road-going performance. The Spider version adds the emotional thrill of open-air driving while preserving the extreme capabilities of the coupe. As a result, the SF90 Spider stands as one of the most technologically advanced Ferraris ever produced.
Performance & Engineering
At the heart of the Ferrari SF90 Spider lies a revolutionary plug-in hybrid powertrain. A 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine works together with three electric motors to produce a combined output of approximately 986 horsepower.
This advanced system allows the supercar to accelerate from 0–100 km/h in about 2.5 seconds, placing it among the fastest production Ferraris ever built. The top speed exceeds 340 km/h, demonstrating the incredible performance potential of the hybrid system.
Ferrari pairs the powertrain with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and advanced all-wheel-drive capability, delivering remarkable traction and acceleration.
Design & Aesthetics
The Ferrari SF90 Spider features an aggressive and futuristic design that reflects its technological sophistication. Sharp aerodynamic lines, sculpted air intakes, and dramatic rear elements contribute to its unmistakable supercar presence.
One of the most distinctive features is the retractable hardtop, which opens or closes in just 14 seconds. Even with the roof mechanism, Ferrari engineers maintained excellent structural rigidity and aerodynamic efficiency.
Inside the cockpit, the design blends advanced technology with racing inspiration. The digital instrument cluster, driver-focused steering wheel, and premium materials create a modern and performance-oriented environment.
