The Ferrari Purosangue marks a historic milestone for Ferrari as the brand’s first four-door production vehicle with SUV-inspired versatility. For decades, Ferrari focused exclusively on low-slung sports cars and grand tourers powered by high-performance engines.

When Ferrari introduced the Purosangue in 2022, the company avoided calling it a traditional SUV. Instead, Ferrari described it as a completely new category of performance vehicle designed to preserve the driving dynamics and emotional experience expected from the brand. The name “Purosangue,” meaning “pure blood” in Italian, reflects Ferrari’s intention to maintain its racing DNA despite entering a new market segment.

Performance & Engineering

At the heart of the Ferrari Purosangue lies a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine producing approximately 725 horsepower. This powerful engine allows the Purosangue to deliver supercar-level performance despite its larger size and practical layout.

The vehicle accelerates from 0–100 km/h in around 3.3 seconds, while the top speed exceeds 310 km/h. Power is delivered through an advanced 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and Ferrari’s intelligent all-wheel-drive system.

Ferrari also equipped the Purosangue with sophisticated active suspension technology that enhances both comfort and handling.
