The Ferrari Purosangue marks a historic moment for Ferrari. For decades, Ferrari focused on building two-seat sports cars and track-focused supercars. However, evolving luxury lifestyles and market demand encouraged the brand to explore a new segment. The Purosangue became Ferrari’s first four-door, four-seat vehicle, yet the company intentionally avoided calling it an SUV.

Ferrari designed the Purosangue to remain true to its heritage. Engineers and designers approached the project as a Ferrari sports car with additional practicality rather than a conventional luxury utility vehicle. Introduced globally in 2022, the Purosangue quickly became one of the most talked-about models in Ferrari’s modern lineup.

Performance & Engineering

At the heart of the Ferrari Purosangue sits a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine producing approximately 715 horsepower and 716 Nm of torque. This powerful engine delivers a thrilling driving experience rarely found in vehicles of this size.

The Purosangue accelerates from 0–100 km/h in around 3.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of about 310 km/h. Power flows through an advanced 8-speed dual-clutch transmission paired with Ferrari’s intelligent all-wheel-drive system. The front-mid engine layout maintains ideal weight distribution, allowing the Purosangue to deliver sports-car handling characteristics.

Design & Aesthetics

The Ferrari Purosangue introduces a bold design language while preserving recognizable Ferrari styling cues. The long hood, sculpted body lines, and aerodynamic surfaces create a powerful and elegant silhouette.

One of the most distinctive elements is the rear-hinged rear doors, which improve access to the cabin without compromising the sleek profile. Inside, the Purosangue features four individual sport seats rather than a traditional bench layout. Premium leather, carbon fiber details, and modern digital displays highlight the cabin’s luxurious atmosphere.
