The Land Rover Defender OCTA P635 represents the most powerful and performance-focused Defender ever created by Land Rover. For decades, the Defender built its reputation as one of the world’s most capable off-road vehicles. However, the OCTA version pushes that legacy further by combining extreme performance with legendary off-road capability.

Developed by Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations division, the Defender OCTA introduces a new level of power, advanced suspension technology, and high-performance engineering. The name “OCTA” draws inspiration from the octahedral diamond structure, symbolizing strength and durability.

Performance & Engineering

At the heart of the Defender OCTA P635 lies a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 mild-hybrid engine delivering around 626 horsepower and up to 750 Nm of torque.

This powerful engine allows the SUV to accelerate from 0–100 km/h in roughly 4 seconds, impressive for a large off-road vehicle. Power is delivered through an 8-speed automatic transmission and a sophisticated all-wheel-drive system, ensuring maximum traction on any terrain.

The OCTA also introduces a new 6D Dynamics suspension system, designed to reduce pitch and body roll while maintaining exceptional off-road articulation.
